Kate Adams
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
I focus on simple strategies that help you help yourself
I am an experienced Physiotherapist specialising in the treatment of back and neck related pain, but equally happy treating other musculoskeletal conditions. I obtained a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University (UK) in 2005, and also hold a degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences.
A FRESH APPROACH TO PHYSIO
After training in the Sarah Key Method of treating problem backs in 2009 and joining the team at the Sarah Key Physiotherapy Centre in 2017, I am now very passionate and experienced in treating those with back and neck related problems.
Following the closure of Sarah’s Sydney clinic, I was keen to continue providing specialist care for patients, so started The Back Physio. I am currently practising part time out of The Physicaltherapy Centre.
I believe that the effective management of pain is achieved through education, focused manual therapy, and simple exercises and strategies that help you to help yourself.
I also feel strongly that chronic pains can be improved and most back problems can be managed without surgery. To do this, I have committed myself to improving myself as a practitioner by incorporating other skill sets.
As well as using the Sarah Key Method of treatment, I hold a Diploma in Sports Massage and am a trained practitioner of Integrated Dry Needling (Acupuncture). Physio Key is another modality I use extensively and have incorporated into many of my treatments.
